Hermosa Valley generally refers to the residential area located west of Pacific Coast Highway to just east of Loma Avenue and Park Avenue, extending from approximately the beautiful Valley Park on the north to 18th Street within Hermosa Beach. Unlike the busier Sand Section near the Strand and Pier, Hermosa Valley offers a quieter, more neighborhood-oriented setting while still remaining just minutes from the beach, downtown Hermosa Beach, and nearby Manhattan Beach.

Because Hermosa Valley covers a fairly broad residential area, the feel of the neighborhood can shift noticeably from one pocket to another. Some streets are closely connected to the Greenbelt and Valley Park, while others offer larger interior lots, cul-de-sacs, hillside locations, or more elevated views.
