For many Bruins, graduation isn't the end of the UCLA story. It's the beginning of lifelong friendships, professional relationships, and a community that continues to open doors long after leaving Westwood. It's a community I'm proud to remain part of today.
UCLA Has Been Part of My Story for Decades
Some places leave a lasting impression on your life. For me, UCLA is one of those places.
My years in Westwood provided an outstanding education, lifelong friendships, and a network of people who continue to inspire me both personally and professionally. Many of the relationships I built as an undergraduate remain some of my closest friendships today, and over the years I've also had the opportunity to help many fellow Bruins buy, sell, and invest in real estate throughout the South Bay and greater Los Angeles.
That connection has remained an important part of my life. Today I'm proud to stay involved through the UCLA Alumni Association, Bruin Professionals, the Wooden Athletic Fund, and as a UCLA Athletics Partner. Supporting UCLA is about more than school pride. It's about giving back to a community that has had a meaningful impact on my life.
Those connections continue to shape both my personal life and my business, reminding me that the strongest relationships are built over time.
A Community Built on Relationships
One of the things I've always appreciated about UCLA is that the relationships don't end at graduation. The Bruin community has a way of staying connected, whether through mentorship, business, philanthropy, or simply helping one another navigate important life decisions.
I've experienced that firsthand over the years. Many of my clients have come through friendships, alumni connections, fraternity relationships, and referrals within the UCLA community. Those experiences have reinforced my belief that the strongest professional relationships are built on trust and shared values.
Those relationships are built on trust, something that's especially important when you're making one of the largest financial decisions of your life.
Real estate is rarely just about buying or selling a home. It's about understanding someone's goals, listening carefully, and providing thoughtful guidance through every step of the process. That's how I've always approached my business, and it's one of the reasons so many of my clients become long-term friends and trusted referral partners.
A Personal Connection That Strengthened My Commitment to UCLA
My appreciation for UCLA extends well beyond the campus.
Several years ago, my family experienced firsthand the extraordinary care provided by UCLA Health when my mother received a life-saving liver transplant. The expertise, compassion, and dedication shown by her physicians, nurses, and care team gave our family something we can never fully repay: more time together.
That experience deepened my appreciation for the entire UCLA community and reinforced my desire to remain actively involved. As I became more engaged with UCLA Athletics and the university, I also saw how closely connected its academic, medical, athletic, and alumni communities truly are. Supporting UCLA became a natural extension of the gratitude my family continues to feel.
From Law to Real Estate
After graduating from UCLA, my career began in the legal profession, where I practiced as both a real estate attorney and later as a corporate attorney. That background continues to shape the way I advise clients today.
Real estate transactions involve far more than finding the right property. They require thoughtful analysis, careful negotiation, and attention to detail. My legal experience helps me guide clients through complex decisions with a strategic mindset while keeping their long-term goals at the center of every recommendation.
Today, I combine that legal background with deep knowledge of the South Bay to help buyers, sellers, and investors make informed decisions with confidence.
Why So Many Bruins Find Their Way to the South Bay
It's no surprise that many UCLA alumni eventually find themselves drawn to the South Bay.
Communities like Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and Palos Verdes offer an exceptional quality of life while remaining connected to many of the industries where Bruins build their careers. The area's strong technology, aerospace, healthcare, finance, legal, and entrepreneurial communities make it an attractive place to live, work, and raise a family.
Whether someone is purchasing their first home, relocating from another part of Los Angeles, moving back after years away, or looking for an investment opportunity, every move comes with its own set of priorities. My role is to help clients understand not only the homes available today, but also the neighborhoods, market dynamics, and long-term considerations that support confident decisions.
Helping Bruins Navigate Their Next Chapter
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping people through important transitions.
Some clients are buying their very first home. Others are growing their families, downsizing after many years, relocating for a new opportunity, or expanding their investment portfolios. Every situation is different, but the goal remains the same: providing thoughtful guidance, honest advice, and strong advocacy throughout the process.
The relationships I've built through UCLA have been one of the greatest privileges of my career, and I'm always grateful when a fellow Bruin places their trust in me.
Looking Ahead
UCLA has been an important part of my life for many years, and I hope it continues to be for many more.
Whether you're a recent graduate, a longtime alum, or simply considering your next move, I'd be happy to share what I'm seeing in today's market and help you explore your options.
No matter where your next chapter takes you, it's always a pleasure to connect with a fellow Bruin.
